Lead / Sr. Project Engineer – Stormwater & Drainage Design

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Lead / SPE Engineer with strong expertise in Stormwater & Drainage Design to lead the technical delivery of urban drainage, flood management, and infrastructure projects, including international/Gulf projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead stormwater and drainage planning, design, hydraulic modelling, and project delivery.
Review and develop concept, detailed and tender designs, calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
Perform/review hydraulic and hydrologic models using SewerGEMS, StormCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, consultants, and authorities for design development and approvals.
Drive value engineering, design optimization, QA/QC, and technical compliance.




Mentor engineers/modelers and provide technical leadership across projects.
Apply BS, EN, AASHTO, WMO, SuDS, and relevant local authority standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering; M.E./M.Tech. in Water Resources, Hydraulics, or Environmental Engineering preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience, including 8+ years in core Stormwater & Drainage Design.
Robust proficiency in SewerGEMS/StormCAD, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and MS Office.
Experience in stormwater networks, flood management, drainage master planning, catchment analysis, and SuDS.
Strong technical leadership, client coordination, communication, and team management skills.
Gulf/Middle East or international project experience with authority approval exposure is preferred.
