Role Description The Business Development Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in Tirupati. The individual in this role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities,



expanding the customer base, and growing premium volumes across assigned channels and segments. Day-to-day activities include building and maintaining relationships with partners, agents, and corporate clients; conducting market research to understand local customer needs; and promoting SBI General’s product portfolio through structured sales plans and presentations. The role involves managing sales pipelines, tracking performance against targets, coordinating with underwriting, operations, and claims teams for smooth policy issuance and servicing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines. The Business Development Manager is also expected to support local marketing initiatives, deliver regular business reports, and contribute to a customer-focused, high-performance culture.
