Role Description The Accountant is a full time, on-site role based at FIDA The Design School in Chennai. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The Accountant prepares invoices, processes payments and receipts, and supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the institution.



Daily tasks include monitoring cash flow, handling payroll-related data, ensuring timely statutory payments, and assisting with internal and external audits. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, collaborating with academic and administrative teams, and providing clear financial information to management for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting and bookkeeping, including ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
