Consultant Medical Writer – Systematic Literature Review (SLR) & Meta-analysis

We are looking for an experienced Medical Writer to join a high-impact project supporting Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR) and Meta-analysis for a global healthcare engagement.
This is a full-time consultant opportunity (up to 4 months) for professionals with hands-on experience delivering end-to-end evidence synthesis projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive SLR protocols (PICOS, eligibility criteria, methodology) aligned with PRISMA guidelines.
- Design and document systematic literature search strategies across scientific databases.
- Perform title/abstract and full-text screening with documented inclusion/exclusion rationale.
- Conduct data extraction using standardized templates and validate extracted data for statistical analysis.
- Assess study quality using RoB2 and Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS/NOC), as applicable.




- Develop qualitative evidence synthesis and interpret findings.
- Prepare high-quality SLR reports, manuscripts, and publications, integrating statistical outputs, PRISMA flow diagrams, and supporting review cycles.

Required Experience
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, or related field (PhD/MD/PharmD preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in Systematic Literature Reviews and Meta-analysis projects.
- Strong understanding of PRISMA, PICOS, evidence synthesis methodologies, and critical appraisal tools.
- Experience with literature databases such as PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and related platforms.
- Experience in scientific publications, clinical evaluation reports, or evidence generation is an advantage.
- Excellent scientific writing and communication skills.
