We are looking for a Senior Python QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in test automation, data validation, and Banking/Capital Markets projects
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management, Project Management, and Development teams to understand business requirements and testing objectives.
- Coordinate effectively between onshore and offshore teams to ensure smooth test execution and delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Python and PyTest.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform SQL-based data validation, analysis, and data integrity checks.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and data-driven testing activities.
- Troubleshoot and triage defects, working closely with development teams to identify root causes and drive timely resolution.
- Build and enhance automation tools and utilities to improve testing efficiency and coverage.




- Support CI/CD processes and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills
- 5 to 9 years of experience in QA Automation and Data-Driven Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python and PyTest.
- Mandatory experience in Banking, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking domains.
- Good understanding of Trade Surveillance or related regulatory/compliance platforms.
- Robust experience in SQL for data validation and testing.
- Expertise in web application testing and automation frameworks.
- Experience creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
