JOB DESCRIPTION - SCHOOL SECURITY STAFF Position Title School Security Guard Department Administration Reporting To Administrative Officer Principal

1 Job Purpose To ensure the safety and security of students staff visitors and school property by maintaining vigilance monitoring entry exit points and responding effectively to security concerns

2 Key Responsibilities A Campus Security Surveillance Monitor all entry and exit points of the school Check ID cards entry passes and visitor records Maintain strict control over unauthorized persons entering the campus Regular patrolling of the school premises including corridors playgrounds parking areas and boundary areas Monitor CCTV cameras and report abnormal activities immediately B Student Staff Safety Ensure secure movement of students during arrival dispersal and breaks Assist in crowd control during school events assemblies and parent-teacher meetings Support teachers and staff in maintaining discipline in school common areas C Visitor Management Register all visitors in the Visitor Logbook Issue visitor badges and ensure escorts are provided when required Inform the concerned department staff about visitor arrival D Emergency Response Act promptly in case of accidents injuries or emergencies Follow school emergency protocols for fire disasters or suspicious activities Guide students and staff to safety during emergency evacuation E Property Protection Ensure school gates classrooms labs and equipment rooms are properly locked after use Report damages or safety hazards immediately to the Admin Department Prevent theft vandalism and misuse of school property F Record Keeping Reporting Maintain daily security logs Report incidents immediately to the Admin Officer Principal Participate in safety meetings and training programs

3 Qualifications Skills Minimum Qualification SSLC Plus Two Prior experience as a security guard preferred Basic knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response Ability to remain alert and
