The Biomedical Engineering Manager will oversee the operations of our Biomedical Department This role involves ensuring quality standards coordinating with management for organizational planning and providing managerial support to the biomedical team Responsibilities Leadership and Quality Standards Maintain and implement ISO quality standards develop goals with staff and departments ensure effective staff training and define departmental improvement roadmaps Asset Management Oversee equipment inventory manage warranties ensure customer satisfaction through feedback update asset data and management protocols and organize vendor comparisons Risk Safety Management Supervise incident reporting and documentation and ensure compliance with policies and procedures Human Resource Management Staff Development Oversee staff orientation and education mentor and model roles handle performance appraisals act as a mediator in conflicts provide counseling and ensure efficient manpower utilization Spare Parts Management Supervise spare parts inventory ensure timely ordering for preventive maintenance and control costs and quality Fiscal Management Manage maintenance costs within budget and handle equipment insurance claims and payments Qualifications Degree in biomedical engineering electronics from a recognized university Post graduation or masters in Hospital Management Engineering Manufacturing training would be an added advantage 3 to 10 years experience at a reputed hospital Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent leadership ability Positive knowledge of core fundamentals of Biomedical engineering and associated applications Technically sound and well-versed with medical equipment People-oriented flexible and adaptable About Asian Heart Institute Asian Heart Institute is India s 1 cardiac hospital dedicated to incorporating the latest technological advances and ethical practices to provide quality heart care at reasonable costs As a JCI NABH and ISO-accredi
