Role: Actuarial - IFRS Reporting

Job location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

Role & Responsibilities
- Support IFRS 17 Actuarial valuation and reporting processes.
- Prepare and validate data required for IFRS reporting and disclosures.
- Assist in calculating and analyzing key IFRS 17 metrics, including CSM, Risk Adjustment.
- Coordinate with Finance and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in process automation, reporting enhancements, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Support analysis of financial results and review movement analysis of reserves, CSM, and insurance revenue across reporting periods.

Education and Actuarial Qualification
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Economics or another quantitative discipline.




- Valuable progress towards actuarial qualification (IAI, IFoA, or equivalent). 5-7 Actuarial examinations cleared preferred.

Experience
- 6-7 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in reserving and regulatory reporting
- Approx. 2 years of experience in IFRS 17 implementation or transformation projects – in India or Abroad.

Skills
- Good understanding of IFRS 17 concepts and insurance accounting principles.
- Proficiency in R, SQL, and Microsoft Excel or IFRS reporting tools will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
