Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and assemblies for current product development.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Creo Parametric.
- Design plastic, sheet metal, machined, and casting components.
- Support electromechanical products and enclosure design.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation activities.
- Work closely with electronics, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams.
- Resolve design issues during prototype and production stages.
- Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, and release packages.
Required Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience in mechanical product design.
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and assembly design.
- Understanding of New Product Development (NPD) processes.
- Knowledge of plastic part design and injection molding.
- Experience in sheet metal, casting, and machined component design.
- Good understanding of GDT, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of structural, thermal, or flow simulation.
- Familiarity with prototype development and product validation.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience in electromechanical product development is preferred.
- Exposure to PLM/PDM systems and engineering change management is an added advantage.
