Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Economics to Classes XI & XII as per the State Board (Matric) curriculum.
- Prepare annual academic plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and question papers.
- Deliver engaging, concept-based lessons using innovative teaching methodologies.
- Teach Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economic Development, Statistics for Economics, and related topics.
- Prepare students for Higher Secondary Board Examinations.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, projects, and model examinations, and provide timely feedback.
- Identify slow learners and provide remedial coaching to improve academic performance.
- Mentor academically gifted students to achieve excellent results.
- Integrate smart classroom technology, presentations,



and digital learning tools into teaching.
- Maintain accurate attendance, assessment records, and student progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings regarding student progress.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, workshops, training programmes, and school events.
- Encourage analytical thinking, financial literacy, and awareness of current economic issues.

Qualifications:
- M.A. / M.Sc. in Economics (mandatory)
- B.Ed. (mandatory)
- CTET/TET qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a Matric Higher Secondary School.
- Experience teaching Classes XI & XII is preferred.
- Experience in handling Higher Secondary Board Examination batches will be an added advantage.

Skills Required
- Solid knowledge of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, Statistics, and Economic Development.
