- Responsibilities:
- Data Source Integration & Transformation:
- Connect to, import, and transform data from various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, Excel, SharePoint, web services, etc.).
- Perform data cleaning, shaping, and transformation using Power Query (M language) within Power BI Desktop.
- Develop and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data ingestion.
- Data Modeling & DAX Development:
- Design and develop optimized data models within Power BI, including star and snowflake schemas, to support reporting requirements.
- Write complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) formulas to create calculated columns, measures, and tables for advanced analytics.
- Ensure data model efficiency and performance.
