About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned territory.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned area.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key outlets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Ensure effective product distribution and availability across assigned retail outlets.
- Manage and monitor distributor performance, stock levels, and market inventory.
- Plan and execute market visits, beat plans, and outlet coverage.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
- Ensure proper implementation of company schemes, promotions, and visibility initiatives.
- Lead, guide, and monitor the performance of Sales Officers/field sales team.
- Conduct regular market visits with the team and ensure effective execution.




- Track sales performance and prepare regular sales and market reports.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and internal teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Ensure proper merchandising, product visibility, and brand presence at retail outlets.
- Manage customer complaints and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Ensure collection follow-up and maintain healthy distributor relationships.
- Support the company in expanding distribution and increasing brand presence in the assigned territory.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
- 4-7 years of experience in FMCG, Dairy, Food, Beverage, or Retail Sales.:
- Prior experience as Area Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager / Sales Manager preferred.
- Solid experience in distributor and retail channel management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience in handling and managing a field sales team.
