Role Overview

StyleSpeak is looking for a Web Editor to lead the day-to-day editorial management of its website and support the growth of its digital audience. This role is responsible for planning, editing, publishing and optimising content across the website and newsletters, while working closely with the print/editorial team, event team, social media resource and SEO agency.

This role is best suited to someone who combines editorial judgement, digital publishing discipline, strong writing/editing skills and an interest in audience growth.

Key Responsibilities

1) Website Editorial Planning & Publishing




- Own and maintain the web editorial calendar in alignment with magazine, event, seasonal and commercial priorities
- Publish and manage regular content on the StyleSpeak website across categories such as:
- hair trends and inspiration
- beauty and salon business stories
- education and career content
- product launches and brand updates
- interviews, features and event stories
- Edit, proofread and optimise all website content for clarity, structure, readability, tone and brand consistency
- Ensure stories are published accurately, on time and in the correct digital format
- Repackage print, event and partner content into website-friendly formats
- Maintain website hygiene including categories, tags, image quality, formatting consistency and internal linking

2) Content Development & Story Packaging
