Job Purpose

The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing daily shift operations to ensure smooth service delivery, achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, food quality, hygiene compliance, and effective team management. The role ensures adherence to company SOPs, brand standards, and statutory regulations while maintaining profitability and operational excellence during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shift Operations Management
- Manage daily shift operations including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure operational readiness and smooth service flow.
- Monitor execution of company policies and SOPs during shifts.

2. Sales & Revenue Performance
- Drive achievement of shift sales targets.
- Promote upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Improve average order value and contribute to outlet revenue growth.

Team Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise, guide, and motivate shift staff.
- Allocate duties and monitor productivity.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, grooming, and adherence to company standards.

4. Customer Service Management
- Ensure prompt and courteous customer service.
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues effectively.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and overall guest experience.

5. Cash Handling & Billing Control
- Oversee POS operations and billing accuracy.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and shift cash reconciliation.
- Prevent billing errors, cash shortages, and discrepancies.

6. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock consumption and material availability.
- Minimize wastage, pilferage, and stock variances.
- Coordinate replenishment requirements and stock accountability.

7. Food Quality Assurance
- Ensure products are prepared and served according to approved recipes and portion
