- 40% IT Infrastructure Architecture & Strategy
- Develop and maintain the architecture for backend services and platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Define and map the relationships and dependencies between IT platform components to form a cohesive system architecture.
- Establish and enforce technical standards for system integration, compatibility, and performance across multiple platforms.
- Evaluate current technologies, cloud services (e.g. Snowflake, AWS, SAP, BDC, BW and others), and infrastructure alternatives to optimize performance and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- 40% Service Delivery & Operations Management
- Oversee the implementation, deployment, and operation of backend infrastructure and services in a global environment.
- Manage large-scale technical projects and operational processes with limited managerial oversight, ensuring timely delivery.
- Implement and manage configuration management, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans for critical backend systems.




- Act as the highest escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving complex, difficult issues related to backend infrastructure and services.
- 20% Technical Leadership & Process Improvement
- Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals, fostering technical growth within the team.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance backend system performance, workflow management, and operational procedures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, configurations, and operational playbooks.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, AI and automation practices and scripting to improve service delivery efficiency.

Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
