Civil Engineer - Water Conservation & Management Program

About Us

Third Planet Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit organization working in the areas of water conservation, environmental sustainability, education, healthcare, and livelihood development. We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to support the implementation of a large-scale Water Conservation & Management Program in Faridabad.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for water conservation interventions.
- Design and supervise construction and rejuvenation of ponds, wells, recharge structures, and check dams.
- Prepare technical drawings, reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with government departments, local authorities, contractors, and community stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and ensure quality implementation at field sites.
- Support groundwater monitoring, GIS mapping, and engineering assessments.




- Maintain GPS-tagged photographic records and project reports.

Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in civil construction, water management, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in NGO, CSR, or government-funded projects preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS mapping, rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge structures, and water conservation systems.
- Strong field coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with hydrogeological surveys and water resource projects.
- Ability to manage contractors and field teams.
- Solid reporting and documentation abilities.
- Willingness to travel across project locations in Faridabad.
