Under the overall supervision of the Head of Office, the direct supervision of the National Officer, and with technical guidance from the Senior Project Assistant (IOM India), the incumbent will be primarily responsible for providing robust field support and serving as the focal point for monitoring and evaluation (M&E;) related to the implementation of migrant worker resource centre(s) in Tamil Nadu.

In addition to the M&E; responsibilities, the incumbent will also provide technical and administrative support to facilitate smooth implementation. This includes coordinating with stakeholders such as local government bodies, supply chain businesses, civil society organizations, and community groups; supporting awareness-raising and outreach efforts; contributing to reporting; and assisting in the preparation and dissemination of project materials.

The role requires robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of project management principles. A proactive approach to field engagement,



coupled with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and communities, is essential for the success of this position.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work and engage migrant workers and the targeted communities on the project.
- Support the establishment and operations of the Mobile Worker Resource Center(s).
- Serve as the primary liaison between IOM and the Implementing Partner (IP), managing all communication to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess project effectiveness.
- Prepare regular evaluation reports, project updates, briefing materials and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular field visits to oversee service delivery and gather feedback.
- Coordinate logistics for field activities, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
- Address any operational issues that arise in the field promptly.
