Project Manager - MEP

Position OverviewThe MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of MEP systems installation, coordination, and delivery within construction or facility management projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining solid client relationships and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Execution Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for MEP systems. Coordinate all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation activities from design through commissioning. Manage project timelines and critical paths to ensure milestones are achieved. Oversee procurement of MEP equipment, materials, and subcontractor services.

Technical Coordination Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications,



and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements and building codes. Coordinate MEP systems integration with architectural and structural elements to resolve conflicts. Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to approved designs. Ensure proper testing, balancing, and commissioning of all MEP systems.

Stakeholder Management Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding MEP project matters. Lead coordination meetings with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Manage relationships with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.

Budget and Cost Control Develop and manage MEP project budgets, tracking costs against forecasts. Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety. Prepare financial reports and varian
