The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for operations, maintenance and compliance of all environmental utilities in the residential / commercial township. Care focus areas, Sewage Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, Organic Waste Composting and Biogas plants.

The roles ensures regulatory compliance, optimal plant performance, resource recovery and zero environmental incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
1. STP& WTP Operations and Maintenance:
Oversee 24/7 operations of STP and WTP monitor inlet/outlet parameters, pH, COD, BOD, TSS, TDS, Chlorine, turbidity.

Plan & execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of blowers, pumps, diffusers, clarifiers, filters, dosing pumps and RO units.

Ensure treated water quality meets MPCB/ CPCB discharge standards and reused water specs for gardening / flushing, Maintain logbooks and SCADA / BMS data

2. Waste Management & Composting

Manage daily collection, segregation and processing of organic wet waste through OWC machines. mechanical composters.

Monitor CN ratio, moisture, temperature,



and aeration for productive composting. Ensure final compost meets FCO standards.

3. Bio Gas Plant Operation and Maintenance

Supervise feeding, mixing and retention time of kitchen waste/ cattle waste in biogas digesters.

Monitor gas production ,methane%, pressure and slurry output. Ensure safe handling, leak checks and pipeline maintenance.

Optimise biogas utilisation for kitchen/ DG cooking and manage digestate as manure

4. COMPLIANCE, EHS and Reporting

Ensure compliance with MPCB/ CTE/ CTO. Consent conditions, Hazardous Waste Rules and Solid Waste Management Rules 2016.

Prepare and file monthly returns, water consumption, effluent analysis reports from NABL labs and hazardous manifests.

5. Cost, Energy and Improvement:
Track power, chemical and water consumption per KL treated. Drive intiatives for energy saving : blower VFD's, aeration, optimisation, solar integration.

Prepare CAPEX / OPEX budgets, AMC/Vendor
