To be successful as a Security Engineer, you should have experience with:
- Manage the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle across Tenable.io, Tenable.SC, and Nessus.
- Ensure scheduled scans are executed successfully, investigate failures, and coordinate remediation.
- Perform asset discovery and onboarding to vulnerability management platforms.
- Conduct risk-based vulnerability assessments and drive remediation prioritisation.
- Support and oversee perimeter and internal (IFE) vulnerability scanning activities.
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Network, Application,
and Security teams to resolve vulnerabilities and improve security posture.
- Automate operational activities using PowerShell and related scripting technologies.
- Produce vulnerability metrics, risk reports, and management insights.
Some other highly valued skills may include:.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or financial services environments. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, GIAC, or Tenable certifications.
