Introduction to the Team:
InsurTech is Expedia Group’s team for insurance and assurance products. It identifies, incubates, and scales products that drive revenue and fit into the traveler journey, and it owns the end-to-end technology strategy and execution for those products.
In practice,



the team builds reusable shop/book/serve capabilities for insurance and fintech offerings across Expedia brands, and focuses on things like supply integration, checkout, servicing, claims, content, experimentation, and ML/data platforms.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the definition, planning, and delivery of complex, multi-team technical programs across the Insurtech organization, with a focus on Insurance and embedded flexibility products, ensuring clear problem framing, measurable outcomes, and alignment to Expedia Group’s strategic objectives.
- Drive cutting-edge programs that improve the traveler experience while delivering significant impact to a P&L; business within Expedia Group, translating strategy into executable roadmaps, operating plans, and measurable business and customer outcomes.
