Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium.
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Develop automation scripts using Python.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and technical documentation.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes and automation coverage.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills
- 5-8 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium Automation.
- Experience in API testing using Postman.
- Positive programming/scripting knowledge in Python.
- Experience in test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work from the client's office in Chennai.
Good-to-Have Skills
- BFSI/Insurance domain experience.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Knowledge of performance or security testing tools.
