Quality Control Inspectors are responsible for making sure that manufactured products meet a set of predetermined quality standards.
- In process testing of lightning arresters has following test:
- Stack assembly test.
- Seal leak test.
- Insulation resistance test.
- Power frequency reference voltage test.
- Separate out any products that fail inspection and hand over failed to stores which were rejected or send to reprocess validated by QC TESTING ASSOCIATE.
- Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments.
- Ensure production as per customer requirement by going through customer approved drawings and GTP.
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions.
- Validate the quantity of lightning arresters’ handover to stores.
- Make recommendations on how to improve the production process in order to reduce the product inspection failure rate.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Materials,



Engineering and Test coordinating compliance to established standards and work flow through in-process inspection steps.
- Inspections to be conducted at various levels of production to ensure compliance with quality, production and workmanship standards.
- Responsible for Use and maintenance of various measuring devices including: Oscilloscope, Insulation tester, gauges, calipers, multi-meters, HV Divider, transformers. etc.
- Ensures manufacturing quality standards are met and maintains logs reflecting daily work
- Work cooperatively in a team workplace.
- Collect weekly and daily Sectional Order from Assistant Manager Production.
- Collect Raw Material as per sectional order BOM under validation of Assistant Manager Production on daily/weekly basis.
- Plan for die changes in machine as per the production schedule.
- Assigning work to workers/Labor coordinating with Contract supervisor.
- Assign the right machine
