About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, LLPs, companies, trusts, and other entities in compliance with the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961.
- Prepare, review, and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.), perform GST reconciliations, and ensure timely statutory compliance.
- Manage TDS/TCS compliance, including deduction, deposit, preparation and filing of TDS/TCS returns, issuance of TDS certificates, and reconciliation with Form 26AS/TRACES.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, record day-to-day accounting transactions, perform bank reconciliations, and prepare financial statements using accounting software such as Tally and MS Excel.
- Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and GST audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, supporting documents, and audit working papers.
- Reconcile financial data with GST portal, Form 26AS, AIS/TIS, GSTR-2B,



and resolve discrepancies through coordination with clients and tax authorities.
- Prepare and maintain statutory records, respond to notices and queries from the Income Tax Department and GST Department, and assist in departmental assessments and compliance matters.
- Coordinate with clients to collect financial information and supporting documents, ensure timely completion of compliance assignments, and stay updated with changes in taxation, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualification
- Strong proficiency in filing returns
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, with CA Inter or dropout being an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in filing
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with accounting processes and CA firm operations will be an added advantage
