JOB TITLE: Technician R&D;

DEPARTMENT: Research and Development

SUPERVISOR’S JOB TITLE: Group Leader, Director
- Chemistry is the branch of science focused on performing qualitative and quantitative analyses of the composition, properties, and activity of organic or inorganic compounds and biologics including:
- Determining chemical and physical properties during chemical syntheses, fermentation or other chemical processes -Identifying the relationships between molecular structure and physical or biological properties to aid in analysis of compounds and molecules:
- LEVEL: Performs routine entry level assignments. Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts:
- Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
- Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
- Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others

The associate level is an entry level qualified.

JOB SCOPE/ SUMMARY:




ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Clean and maintain test equipment.
- Provide project support and assistance to the various departments as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Educational attainment is equivalent to bachelor’s degree in science (Chemistry), Paint Technology or a related field

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES RECOMMENDED FOR POSITION:
Knowledge of the principles of math and chemistry

Ability to communicate effectively, read specifications and follow oral or written instructions.
