Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to support the Radiology Department by accurately transcribing radiology reports dictated by radiologists and ensuring timely completion of diagnostic reports.

Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe radiology reports from voice dictations accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare reports for X-ray, CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other radiological investigations as applicable.
- Maintain accuracy in medical terminology, anatomy, pathology, and radiology-specific terminology.
- Proofread and edit reports for grammar, spelling, formatting, and completeness.
- Ensure correct patient identification and report details before finalizing reports.
- Coordinate with radiologists for clarification or correction wherever required.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.




- Ensure timely completion and submission of reports as per departmental requirements.
- Follow hospital policies, documentation standards, and quality protocols.
- Maintain proper records and support smooth workflow within the Radiology Department.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; Medical Transcription / Medical Terminology certification preferred.
- Prior experience in medical transcription, preferably in a Radiology Department, will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of radiology and medical terminology.
- Excellent English language, spelling, grammar, and listening skills.
- Good typing speed and high accuracy.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems, EMR/RIS/PACS, or medical reporting software is preferred.
