Job Description Summary
As a Graduate Engineering Trainee (Mechanical), you will join the XGEN Engineering team supporting Install Base Engineering for X-ray tube and X-ray generator products. You will contribute to sustaining engineering, engineering change management, product qualification, testing, validation, and failure analysis while working closely with experienced engineers across manufacturing, quality, and service organizations. This role provides an excellent prospect to develop expertise in mechanical engineering fundamentals and product lifecycle support within the medical imaging industry.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Support engineering activities for X-ray tube and X-ray generator products within Install Base Engineering.




Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals to support sustaining engineering and product lifecycle activities.
Understand and prepare engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;).
Support tolerance analysis and mechanical simulation activities.
Utilize CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, and ANSYS to support engineering activities.
Assist in Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Supply Change Requests (SCRs), and engineering change implementation through the Engineering Change Control Board (ECCB) process.
Support Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) structuring, drawing updates, and design change activities.
Participate in product qualification, verification, validation, and testing activities.
Support field data analysis, field failure investigations, and root cause analysis.
Assist in mechanical part development, mechanical test fixture development, part inspection,
