Position summary

The Site Store Keeper - ABB India Ltd (Tata Garuda BIW Project) is responsible for end‑to‑end control of all BIW project materials at site, from receipt and inspection through storage, issue, and final reconciliation, ensuring availability of the right material at the right time with proper documentation as per ABB standards.

Project roles and responsibilities

Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate with ABB Project Coordinator/Project Engineer to understand BIW project BOM, fixtures, robots, panels, conveyors, safety components and maintain an updated procurement and delivery tracking list for all materials linked to Tata Garuda BIW line.
- Follow up with ABB-approved suppliers for manufacturing status and dispatch of BIW structures, robots, weld guns, EOATs, electrical panels, cables, sensors, safety items and other bought‑outs, ensuring all shipments carry PO, packing list, invoice,



e‑way bill and test/inspection certificates where applicable.
- Plan and coordinate unloading at Tata Garuda site:
- Obtain dispatch and unloading photos from suppliers.
- Share vehicle details and unloading requirements with ABB Site Manager / Tata site team.
- Send vehicle and material details to plant gate/security for inward clearance as per Tata site norms.
- Receive and physically inspect all incoming BIW materials against PO, drawings/description and packing list for quantity, specification, damage and correctness; immediately report shortages, damages or mismatches to Project Coordinator, Quality and SCM.
- Segregate and tag materials as Accepted / Rejected / Hold based on visual inspection and quality/inspection reports; ensure rejected or excess materials are kept separately and controlled.
