This is an opportunity for a Financial Crime Compliance professional to play a key role in strengthening sanctions risk management within a complex, globally operating digital-asset workplace. You will serve as a subject matter expert, providing practical guidance on sanctions risks, controls, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The role combines regulatory monitoring, risk assessment, advisory support, and stakeholder engagement across functions and geographies. You will help translate regulatory developments into meaningful policy and control improvements while challenging processes where risks or gaps are identified. Working closely with senior compliance leaders and business stakeholders, you will support the investigation, mitigation, and remediation of sanctions-related issues. Accountabilities
Act as a subject matter expert on sanctions compliance, including sanctions risks, controls, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices.
Support senior sanctions leadership in providing actionable, risk-based advice to stakeholders across different functions and regions.
Monitor regulatory and legal developments relevant to sanctions compliance and assess their potential impact on policies, processes, and controls.
Help translate regulatory developments into practical policy adjustments and improvements to the sanctions compliance framework.
Critically evaluate processes for identifying, documenting, and assessing sanctions risks associated with business activities.
Provide constructive challenge and recommendations where sanctions risk management processes, controls, or practices require improvement.
