Hirely is recruiting on behalf of a hiring partner for a remote IT Support Specialist opportunity
supporting an advanced AI project.
You'll apply your real-world IT support expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through high-quality technical scenarios, troubleshooting knowledge, and process documentation.
No prior AI experience is required.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across
Windows, macOS, and Linux
environments.
- Troubleshoot networking issues involving
TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs
, and connectivity.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, root causes, and resolutions using
ITSM/ticketing systems
.
- Provide clear, step-by-step technical support to non-technical users.
- Create practical IT troubleshooting scenarios and technical documentation.
- Contribute detailed feedback and examples that can support AI training and evaluation.
- Collaborate remotely while maintaining consistent quality and documentation standards.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of IT support experience
, ideally in Tier 2/3 environments.
- Strong hardware, software, operating-system, and networking troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with
Windows, macOS, and/or Linux
.
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms and incident documentation.
- Strong understanding of
TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN troubleshooting
.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Solid attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Nice to Have:
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL certification.
- Experience maintaining technical documentation or knowledge bases.
- Experience with remote IT support or distributed teams.
Compensation:
