About the Role :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage strategic sourcing, supplier identification, vendor development, and cost optimization for electronic components and materials. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) or OEM setting with a strong understanding of electronics supply chain and sourcing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Identification
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for electronic components and raw materials based on technical, commercial, and quality requirements.
- Conduct RFQs/RFPs, analyze supplier quotations, and perform cost benchmarking.
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with project timelines, volume forecasts, and business objectives.

Vendor Development & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier base to ensure continuity of supply and risk mitigation.




- Build long-term relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness, quality, and delivery adherence.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and capability assessments on a periodic basis.

Cost Optimization & Negotiation
- Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contractual conditions.
- Perform cost analysis and should-costing to support cost-reduction and value engineering initiatives.
- Support localization and alternate sourcing initiatives to reduce dependency and overall procurement cost.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Support
- Work closely with R&D;, Engineering, Quality, SCM, and Production teams during new product development (NPD) and project execution.
- Ensure timely sourcing of materials as per project milestones and prototype/production requirements.
