Serving as the technical authority for multiple key Netsmart modules or products, the Data Architect is recognized within the organization as a technology and solution visionary.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale data platforms and architectures that support analytics, reporting, and operational data needs. This role will be responsible for defining data strategy, data models, governance standards, and scalable cloud-based data solutions while partnering closely with engineering, analytics, DevOps, and business teams.
The ideal candidate combines strong architecture experience with hands-on knowledge of modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and large-scale data processing.
Key Responsibilities




Design and define enterprise data architecture aligned with business and technology strategy.
Architect and guide implementation of cloud-native data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and contemporary analytical architectures.
Lead the design of scalable batch and real-time data processing solutions.
Establish and govern data modeling standards (conceptual, logical, and physical models).
Drive best practices for data quality, security, governance, metadata management, and compliance.
Provide architectural guidance for data integration, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data lifecycle management.
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise data solutions.
Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies to modernize the data ecosystem.
Mentor engineers and architects through design reviews, technical guidance, and architecture
