Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT Procurement professional with deep expertise in technology sourcing, vendor management, and strategic procurement. The ideal candidate will drive cost optimization, ensure compliance, and build robust supplier partnerships while staying hands-on with emerging IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT procurement strategy covering hardware, software, cloud, and IT services.
- Partner with CIO/CTO and business stakeholders to align procurement with technology roadmaps.
- Negotiate large-scale contracts, licensing agreements, and service-level commitments.
- Evaluate vendors on technical capability, financial stability, and compliance standards.
- Drive digital procurement initiatives (automation, analytics, e-sourcing tools).
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Mentor and lead procurement teams, fostering a culture of efficiency and innovation.




- Monitor market trends in IT infrastructure, SaaS, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong background in IT procurement across multinational or large-scale enterprises.
- Hands-on knowledge of enterprise technology (ERP, cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity).
- Proven negotiation and contract management expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to balance cost optimization with innovation adoption.
- Familiarity with Indian regulatory and compliance requirements in IT procurement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Commerce; MBA preferred.
- Professional certifications in procurement (CIPS, CPSM) or IT (ITIL, cloud certifications) are an advantage.

- 15–20 years of progressive experience in IT procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
