Role overview:
As a Lead Technical Program Manager, you serve as the technical anchor for high-impact, organization-wide initiatives across Target’s Cloud & Compute platforms. You provide program leadership for large-scale infrastructure modernization efforts focussing on virtualization platform strategy, compute infrastructure transformation, data center modernization, resiliency improvements, and cloud adoption initiatives.
You create, own,
and drive the strategic plan required to deliver complex platform capabilities spanning multiple engineering teams and technology domains. You develop a deep understanding of compute and virtualization architectures, infrastructure dependencies, platform roadmaps, and operational requirements, enabling you to translate technical strategy into executable program plans.
In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, product, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-scale programs such as virtualization platform lifecycle management, workload migration and
modernization, platform capacity expansion, data center exits, resiliency enhancements, automation adoption, and infrastructure standardization efforts.
