Role Description

This is a full time, on-site Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technician role based in Coimbatore. The technician will support anesthesiologists and surgeons by preparing the operation theatre, arranging instruments and equipment, and ensuring all anesthesia machines and monitors are functional and appropriately calibrated. Daily tasks include assisting in the administration of anesthesia under supervision, preparing patients for surgery, monitoring patient status during procedures, and maintaining sterile techniques and infection control standards. The role also involves managing supplies, documenting procedures accurately, coordinating with nursing and surgical teams, and ensuring safe handling and maintenance of all OT and anesthesia-related equipment.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical skills in Anesthesiology and Medicine relevant to operation theatre and pre/post-anesthesia care.
- Hands-on experience in the Operating Room and Surgery settings, including OT preparation,



instrument handling, and adherence to aseptic protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver safe and compassionate Patient Care, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative monitoring, and post-operative support.
- Degree in Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technology.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff in a high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, maintain accurate records, and comply with hospital safety and quality standards.
- Prior experience in a hospital OT or anesthesia department is preferred but motivated early-career professionals may also be considered.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
