Study Abroad Counsellor
We are looking for a *motivated and target-oriented Study Abroad Counsellor* to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students through international education opportunities and assisting them in choosing suitable courses, universities, and study destinations based on their academic and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and provide professional guidance on overseas education opportunities.
- Understand students’ academic profiles, career aspirations, and preferences to recommend suitable study options.
- Provide accurate information on universities, courses, admission requirements, intakes, and study destinations.
- Handle student enquiries, follow-ups, and maintain regular communication throughout the counselling process.
- Convert qualified enquiries into successful applications and admissions.
- Coordinate with the processing team to ensure a smooth student journey.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status.
- Achieve monthly targets set by management and contribute to overall branch performance.
- Build strong relationships with students and provide excellent customer service.
- Stay updated with changes in international education trends, university requirements, and destination policies.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
- Strong convincing and relationship-building abilities.
- Goal-oriented with a positive and proactive approach.
- Experience in study abroad counselling or education sales is preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn may also apply.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
