The Advisor will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing plant maintenance operations. This includes developing and executing maintenance plans, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of personnel and equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Projects team to enhance subordinate skills and contribute to the overall success of the company's operations.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plant maintenance strategy, including outsourcing, resource allocation, and infrastructure planning.
- Create and execute maintenance plans covering preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance jobs.
- Prepare and manage plant maintenance budgets, spare part planning, contract management, and vendor development.
- Provide on-the-job training and skill development opportunities for subordinates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel and equipment, implementing necessary safety protocols and procedures.




- Collaborate with the Projects team to identify and address maintenance challenges, finding innovative solutions.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technologies, incorporating new ideas into the maintenance strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely and effective procurement processes.
- Provide regular updates and reports on maintenance activities, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in the metallurgical or mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles, including maintenance planning and scheduling.
