About the Role:
-We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our high-performance Co-location (CoLo) infrastructure supporting low-latency trading systems.
-The role involves maintaining 90+ #OnPremises servers deployed across co-location data centres, ensuring ultra-high availability, performance tuning, and automation of infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Operations :
-Manage, monitor, and maintain 80+ physical servers in co-location environments
-Ensure low-latency, high-throughput performance for trading applications
-Handle server provisioning, racking, cabling, and hardware lifecycle management
-Work with data center providers for remote hands and incident resolution
Automation & DevOps Practices :
-Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar
-Automate deployment pipelines (CI/CD) for trading applications and services
-Develop scripts for system provisioning, monitoring, and recovery
System Performance & Reliability:
-Optimize Linux systems for ultra-low latency trading workloads
-Monitor system health, network latency, packet loss, and jitter
-Implement failover strategies and disaster recovery mechanisms
-Conduct performance benchmarking and capacity planning
Monitoring & Incident Management:
-Set up and manage monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
-Implement alerting and logging systems
-Lead incident response and root cause analysis (RCA)
Technical Skills:
-Solid experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) system administration
-Proficiency in scripting: Python, Bash, or Go
-Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
