We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Design & Engineering Specialist to join our team in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will be responsible for creating end-to-end engineering designs, electrical layouts, and generation simulations for both rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects. You will act as the technical anchor, coordinating closely with procurement and execution teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Role & responsibilities
- Prepare designs for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
- Prepare SLDs, layouts, cable schedules, and BOQs/BOMs as per project requirements.
- Prepare PVsyst simulations and generation estimates.
- Prepare material requirements and BOM based on approved designs.
- Coordinate with Project, Purchase, and Execution teams for technical requirements.




- Review technical specifications and vendor drawings.
- Ensure designs are accurate and aligned with project requirements.

Preferred candidate profile
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Solar PV Design/Engineering.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of PVsyst, SLD, BOM/BOQ, and AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems.
- Ability to independently prepare designs, layouts, and material requirements.
- Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Robust coordination and communication skills.
- Candidates from an Electrical Engineering background preferred.
