Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with 5+ years of experience in UK Taxation, Financial Reporting and Compliance, with robust hands-on experience in UK Corporation Tax and HMRC compliance.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality UK tax and accounting services, with a primary focus on UK corporate tax compliance, tax computations and HMRC requirements, along with financial reporting and statutory accounting activities in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.

The role will involve working closely with UK stakeholders, internal teams and clients to ensure accurate, timely and compliant delivery of tax and financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

UK Corporation Tax & HMRC Compliance – Primary Responsibility




- End-to-end preparation and/or review of UK Corporation Tax computations and CT600 returns.
- Preparation and review of tax provisions, current tax and deferred tax calculations.
- Analysis of accounting profits and preparation of tax adjustments and tax reconciliations.
- Strong understanding and application of UK Corporation Tax legislation and HMRC requirements.
- Ensuring timely and accurate submission of UK tax returns and compliance deliverables.
- Handling tax queries and providing appropriate technical analysis in line with UK tax legislation.
- Supporting tax audits, reviews and information requests from relevant stakeholders.
- Monitoring changes in UK tax legislation and HMRC guidance and assessing their impact on entities.
- Working with UK stakeholders to obtain relevant information and resolve tax-related queries.
- Experience with HMRC / Government Gateway and UK tax compliance processes.
