This Supply Chain Lead position oversees end-to-end global procurement, sourcing, and logistics for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) panels, inverters, and grid-scale transformers.

You will negotiate long-term agreements, manage inventory, mitigate geopolitical supply risks, and collaborate with EPC and project teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Develop and execute global procurement strategies for BESS containers, power conversion systems (PCS), and medium-voltage grid transformers.

Lead RFQs/RFPs, techno-commercial evaluations, and negotiate long-term supply agreements (LTAs) with top-tier OEMs.

Monitor global commodity price trends (e.g., lithium, steel, copper) to optimize costs while ensuring equipment bank ability.

Supply Chain Planning & Logistics

Oversee demand planning and end-to-end logistics, including sea, rail, and road freight for heavy/over-dimensional cargo.

Manage international trade compliance, EXIM operations, customs clearance, and duty structures.





Establish dual/multi-sourcing strategies and buffer-stock policies to prevent construction or manufacturing bottlenecks.

Vendor & Contract Management:

Build robust partnerships with major international and domestic suppliers and logistics service providers.

Implement supplier scorecards to track performance metrics like On-Time In-Full (OTIF) deliveries and quality standards.

Manage contract terms, warranty claims, and dispute resolutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with engineering, project, and finance teams to align procurement schedules with project commissioning timelines.

Support project budgeting, cash flow tracking, and value engineering initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain is highly preferred.
