We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in feature engineering for cybersecurity applications. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize high-quality features that power advanced ML models used for threat detection, anomaly detection, malware classification, and risk scoring. You will work extensively with AWS and Amazon SageMaker to develop, train, deploy, and monitor production-grade machine learning solutions in a cloud-native setting. You will collaborate closely with security researchers, data engineers, and product teams.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning / data science roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in feature engineering, particularly for structured, semi-structured, and time-series cybersecurity data.
- Proven expertise building and deploying models using XGBoost (including advanced hyper-parameter tuning and handling imbalanced datasets).
- Solid practical knowledge of Bayesian modeling techniques and Generalized Additive Models (GAM).




- Hands-on experience with Amazon SageMaker for model development, training, deployment, and MLOps workflows.
- Strong working knowledge of the AWS cloud platform and related services commonly used in ML pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, PyMC / Stan or equivalent Bayesian libraries, pygam or similar for GAMs).
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature selection methods, dimensionality reduction, and handling high-cardinality or sparse features.
- Strong understanding of model evaluation, cross-validation strategies, and techniques to mitigate overfitting in security contexts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.

Pay: From ₹75,000.00 per month
