Job Purpose
The General Manager of Accounts & Taxation will head the corporate accounting, financial planning, and statutory tax compliance functions for our real estate operations. This leadership role requires deep expertise in real estate accounting standards, joint development agreements, and industry-specific direct and indirect tax frameworks to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance across all ongoing and upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts & Financial Reporting
- Oversee the end-to-end finalization of standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with Ind AS (specifically Ind AS 115 regarding revenue from contracts with customers in real estate) and statutory requirements.
- Implement and manage project-wise accounting, cost allocation,



and inventory valuation (construction-in-progress) protocols.
- Supervise the core accounting teams managing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, and general ledger operations.
- Formulate and implement robust internal financial controls (IFC) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mitigate operational and financial risks.

2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Indirect Taxation: Lead GST compliance, including the calculation of tax liability on construction services, reversal of Input Tax Credit (ITC) as per real estate rules, filing of monthly/annual returns, and optimizing tax structures for residential and commercial segments.
- Direct Taxation: Manage corporate income tax computations, advance tax planning, and timely filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR). Ensure rigorous compliance with TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and TCS provisions, particularly those related to immovable proper
