About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in the design, execution, and technical approval of major highway structures for an active NHAI project in Kharagpur, West Bengal.

You will lead the structural wing for site execution and design coordination across all major structures—including Major Bridges, Vehicle Underpasses (VUPs), Pedestrian Underpasses (PUPs), Box/Pipe Culverts, Flyovers, and Retaining Walls.

Key Responsibilities
- Structural Execution & Design Review
- Review, verify, and execute detailed designs for Major Bridges (PSC Girder / Steel Composite), VUPs, PUPs, and Box/Pipe Culverts.
- Ensure structural execution strictly complies with approved Working Drawings (GFCs), MoRTH Specifications (5th/6th Revision),



and relevant IRC Codes.
- Oversee foundation works (open, well, and pile foundations), substructures, piers, pier caps, superstructure casting, and launching schemes.
- Review temporary works, shuttering schemes, falsework, and launcher load-tests.
- Ensure strict adherence to IRC codes: IRC:6 (Loads), IRC:112 (Concrete Bridges), IRC:78 (Foundations), IRC:83 (Bearings), and IRC:SP:84 / SP:87 (4/6 Laning Manuals).
- Coordinate directly with the Authority Engineer (AE), Independent Engineer (IE), and Proof Consultant for Mix Designs, GFCs, Method Statements, and RFIs.
- Review and approve Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), pile load test reports, girder prestressing schedules, and material test results.
- Troubleshoot geometric alignment issues, soil-structure interaction challenges, and design modifications alongside the site execution team.
