Designation : Import & Export Sr. Executive

Department: Supply Chain / Logistics
Location: Halol, Gujarat

Job Summary
The Import & Export Sr. Executive will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day import and export operations, ensuring timely clearance of shipments, accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal departments. The role will support smooth international trade operations while ensuring cost-effective and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end import and export shipments.
- Prepare and verify EXIM documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB, Shipping Bill, Bill of Entry, Certificate of Origin, etc.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, Customs House Agents (CHA), shipping lines, and logistics partners for timely shipment execution.
- Track import shipments to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Coordinate export shipments to customers as per delivery schedules.




- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, FEMA, and other applicable import-export regulations.
- Maintain HS Code records and support customs documentation.
- Coordinate with banks for Letter of Credit (LC), import payments, and export documentation.
- Monitor freight costs, demurrage, and detention charges, and highlight cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain shipment records, MIS reports, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Finance, Sales, and Stores for smooth material movement.
- Support vendor follow-ups and ensure timely submission of shipping documents

Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / International Business
- MBA (Supply Chain / International Business) preferred
- Certification in Import-Export / Foreign Trade is an added advantage

- 4 -7 years of experience in Import & Export operations.
