Job description of procurement Audit:
- Conduct pre audit of end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, on boarding, commercial terms.
- Review purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements, purchase orders, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Detailed knowledge of commodity price and in market intelligence.
- Positive verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to co-ordinate, discuss, present the issues/concerns to multiple stakeholders including management.
- Verify compliance with procurement policies, delegation of authority (DOA), and approval matrices
- Ability to think and suggest new ideas, procurement process, market trend and best practices to bring efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement process.
- Strong team worker and should be able to manage and work with colleagues and team members.
- Having positive experience in data analysis and identifying key indicators and learning out of the data.
- Detect procurement irregularities, fraud risks, conflicts of interest, and policy violations.
- Review contract terms, amendments, and compliance with agreed conditions.
- Follow up on audit findings and verify the implementation of corrective actions.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Understanding of internal audit methodologies and risk assessment.
- Knowledge of Indian GST regulations, HSN/SAC codes, and taxation related to procurement.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preparing audit reports and documentation
Timely completion of any special or related work task assigned by HOD and RA.
