Electrical Design Manager Power Transformers | Halol, Vadodara

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Manager with strong expertise in Power Transformer Design up to 132 kV / 100 MVA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop optimized electrical designs for power transformers based on tender/customer specifications.
- Perform electrical, dielectric, thermal and short-circuit design calculations.
- Prepare datasheets, cost sheets, technical offers and customer submissions.
- Review customer drawings and coordinate with mechanical design teams for tank, yoke clamp, insulation and internal connections.
- Drive design optimization to meet market cost and performance requirements.
- Support tender/pre-tender technical discussions and customer meetings.
- Develop current transformer applications and explore innovative transformer accessories.




- Ensure compliance with applicable transformer standards, internal procedures, safety and quality requirements.

Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in Power Transformer Electrical Design.
- Hands-on experience with transformers up to 132 kV / 100 MVA.
- Strong knowledge of transformer electrical, thermal, dielectric, short-circuit and insulation design.
- Experience in tender engineering, design optimization and customer technical discussions.
- Knowledge of transformer standards and design software/tools.
- Good communication, analytical and team-management skills.
