We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Part time Underwriting Executive to assist in handling policy processing on a per-case basis. The role is suitable for individuals seeking flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end underwriting activities.
- Verify proposal forms and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and insurer guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Basic understanding of underwriting processes.
- Candidate should possess basic knowledge of Claims/Underwriting processes along with a general understanding of medical terminology and financial documentation.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word and email communication.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple cases efficiently.
Educational Qualification
- 12th pass or graduate in any discipline.
- Additional certification in insurance or healthcare management will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- Basic experience in underwriting, insurance broking, health insurance, or TPA operations preferred.
- Freshers with strong analytical and communication skills may also apply.
Compensation
- Payment will be made on a per-case / assignment basis.
- Compensation structure will depend on volume of cases handled.
Working Days & Timings
- Flexible part-time working hours based on case allocation and operational requirements.
- Candidates should be comfortable handling assigned cases on weekends and government holidays, whenever required.
