Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Lead day-to-day fund accounting operations for assigned funds and investment structures.
- Review and oversee preparation of NAV calculations, trial balances, general ledger, financial statements, and investor reporting.
- Review accounting entries including:
- Investment purchases and sales
- Capital calls and distributions
- Management fees and performance fees
- Accrued expenses and prepaid expenses
- Interest income and expense
- Realized and unrealized gains/losses
- Foreign exchange transactions
- Corporate actions and other investment-related activity
- Perform detailed P&L;, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and NAV analysis.
- Review valuation of investments and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
- Oversee cash, position, and investment reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve accounting breaks and discrepancies.
- Review and approve journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and rectification entries.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.




- Review fund financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Support preparation and review of audit schedules and year-end audit requirements.
Private Equity / Private Credit Accounting
- Review capital activity including capital calls, distributions, transfers, and investor allocations.
- Review investment-level accounting and valuation adjustments.
- Understand and review amortization schedules, interest accruals, fee calculations, and investment income.
- Review fund-level and investment-level reconciliations.
- Support waterfall calculations and performance allocations, where applicable.
- Review NAV packs and supporting documentation before client delivery.
- Ensure accounting treatment is aligned with fund governing documents and applicable accounting policies.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of fund accountants and senior associates.
- Allocate work based on team capacity, complexity, deadlines,
