Title: Academic Counsellor – (Tamil) (Sales)

Role Overview

We are looking for an empathetic, articulate, and goal-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our admissions team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will serve as a trusted guide for prospective students and parents—helping them navigate academic options, providing expert course counseling, and supporting them through the enrollment process to build a successful educational path.

Key Responsibilities
- Consultative Guidance & Outreach: Engage with prospective students and parents to understand their career goals, recommend suitable academic programs, and detail entry criteria and fee structures.
- Admission Counseling & Conversion: Conduct structured follow-ups to resolve candidate queries, address concerns, and guide qualified leads through every stage of the admissions process.
- Student success Mapping: Help prospective students make informed choices about higher education by providing clear,



accurate information about program outcomes and career prospects.
- Database & CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of counseling interactions, lead statuses, and follow-up pipelines using MS Excel and admission management software.
- Admissions Targets: Work collaboratively within a dynamic, supportive team to meet individual and collective enrollment goals.

Key Requirements
- Education: Graduate or Diploma degree in any discipline.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Tamil and English (mandatory).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word) and comfortable working with CRM platforms or call-tracking tools.
- Core Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills, strong persuasive ability, a solution-oriented mindset, and a genuine passion for student success.
